Neha Mani

Neha is a junior at Columbia University majoring in Biochemistry and concentrating in Linguistics. She currently conducts structural biology research at the Mancia Lab at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. In high school, she competed in the New York City Science and Engineering Fair, Regeneron’s Science Talent Search, and Regeneron’s International Science and Engineering Fair. At her local city fair, she noticed that the vast majority of students presenting research projects were from well-resourced schools and the same groups of students would return to the fair each year. She wanted to launch Modulus to ensure that research was accessible to all students who wanted to pursue it, expanding science research to encompass more diversity than before.
